CPR, 1st Aid, Med Administration and TI Classes

Requirements: Access requires employees receive training in CPR, 1st Aid, & Med Administration. Additionally employees are invited to attend TI (Therapeutic Intervention) classes.  These classes are taught by qualified Access employees or other community agencies. Please contact your supervisor or a member of the HR Department if you have questions on class times and requirements. The agency pays course fees for certification.  Employees are responsible for providing copies of their current CPR/1st Aid certificates to the HR Department upon completing a class.

Attendance: New employees are given assistance in signing up for these classes. Current employees are responsible for keeping their certification current. It is the employee's responsibility to attend a scheduled training event, as these classes are all reserved seating.  If an employee has registered to attend one of these scheduled training events and fails to show up for the training, the employee will be assessed a fee.   If you register and are unable to attend, you must give appropriate notice (see information below).
